Mark Whiteley

Mark Whiteley was born just a biscuit shy of 27 years ago, and has spent the years in between now and then doing things like riding a skateboard, shooting photographs, writing, doing video work, attending the university of California at Santa Cruz, majoring in art with an emphasis in photography and earning a Irwin award for excellence in visual art, and serving as the editor-in-chief at SLAP skateboard magazine. His writing and photos have appeared in a number of magazines the world over, and he has taken part in art shows here and there. You’re most likely to find him on the phone and the computer simultaneously, or when he's lucky either skating with the Tiltmode Army, violating an acoustic guitar, or spending some quality time with Mrs. Whiteley, or maybe lurking with a camera.
